Thank You for Celebrating With Us!
Thank you for joining Eye Care for Detroit for our Anniversary Celebration and Visionary Leadership Dinner. Your presence helped make the evening a truly meaningful and memorable occasion as we continue #deliveringvision to our community.
Together, we honored the remarkable lifetime contributions of Dr. Otis B. Ferguson, III, a pioneer in Detroit's eye care community whose decades of service have paved the way for our work today. We also celebrated the launch of our groundbreaking "Make a Simple Decision to Give the Gift of Vision" initiative that will bring sight-saving care to approximately 40,000+ homebound Detroit residents over the next 3-5 years.
We are especially grateful to our distinguished guests, including keynote speaker Dr. M. Roy Wilson, Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist, U.S. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, Chief Public Health Officer Denise Fair Razo, Detroit City Council President Mary Sheffield, and all the visionary leaders who helped elevate the evening with their commitment to healthcare equity and community transformation.
The evening reinforced what we've always believed: when compassionate people come together around a shared vision, extraordinary impact becomes possible. Your support validates our mission and energizes us for the important work ahead.
Stay Involved
We invite you to continue this journey with us as we work toward our goal of serving Detroit's most vulnerable residents. Whether through volunteering, strategic partnerships, or donations, your ongoing involvement will help us create a clearer, healthier future for our community.
From all of us at Eye Care for Detroit, thank you for standing with us and for seeing the vision. Together, we're not just delivering healthcare—we're #deliveringvision to transform lives across Detroit.
