Without insurance, a standard eye exam can cost $50 to $200. With an insurance, the co-pay is usually between $10 to $40.
Most vision insurance plans cover routine eye exams, but not usually the refraction test. Most medical insurance plans cover medical eye exams, but not usually the refraction test.
